The Good Stuff

It really is crazy how much you can find on the internet once you start looking! It's such a huge help while we are trying to figure out what we're doing. Here are some of the neat URLs that I found:

http://docsteach.org/
This one is an official website done by the National Archives that's all about how to use primary documents to make history come alive for your students. Awesome.

http://edsitement.neh.gov/interactive-index.asp
This one has really interesting interactive maps, quizzes, lesson plans, etc. to help out with teaching both U.S. and World History.

http://ushistoryeducatorblog.blogspot.com/
This one is a blog that compiles lots of information from various history teachers. They are always posting new URLs that are helpful or videos that will solidify what the kids are learning.

There really are so many things out there to make history real to the kids. The resources just on these pages leads to even more sites and resources that could be used!
